About Delfina
I consider myself a person of good character: educated, responsible and self-taught. I am an educator by profession, trained in Early Childhood Education at Montgomery College, and I have worked with children from infants through the age of eleven.
I speak three languages: Quechua, Spanish and English. Quechua is the language of the Andes, and it travels with me into every Spanish class I teach.
Outside the classroom I am a lover of the beauty of creation and of life. I spend my time outdoors, I practise yoga, I dance, and I love animals.
My contribution comes from love and compassion: being part of our children's education, in their personal and cognitive growth, because they are the future of our planet.
“Children are the future of our planet. Being part of their growth, personal as much as cognitive, is how I give something back.”
