Frequently Asked Questions
Is C2 really different from C1 in practice?+
Yes. C1 is full professional proficiency. C2 is the ability to use Spanish with the range and precision of an educated native — including subtle nuance, stylistic control, and specialized vocabulary.
Who typically takes C2?+
Translators, interpreters, university professors, journalists, writers, diplomats, and heritage speakers who want to formalize/perfect their Spanish for professional or academic reasons.
How long does C2 take to complete?+
Around 230 hours. Most students take 12–24 months. This level rewards depth and consistency more than speed.
Is there a DELE C2 certification?+
Yes, DELE C2 is the highest official Spanish certification. Prep can be integrated on request — mention it when we chat.
Can I do C2 in a private format?+
Absolutely. At this level, private classes are often the most efficient — content and pace are tailored entirely to your goals (translation, literature, professional use, exam prep).
What comes after C2?+
There's no higher CEFR level. From here, most students focus on specialized domains (legal, medical, literary) or lifelong maintenance of fluency through reading, media, and conversation.
