Karla created La Casa del Español with one goal: to make Spanish accessible, enjoyable, and truly effective for English speakers in the DMV area. Originally from Bolivia, Karla is a certified native Spanish instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience — and the only instructor who teaches every level, from Mini Toledo kids to DELE-certified adults.
Her approach combines proven pedagogical methods with a genuine passion for human connection. Under her leadership, La Casa del Español has grown from a small tutoring practice into a full academy — serving professionals, healthcare workers, families, retirees, and corporate teams.
